Brewing Tea With Tea InfuserA tea infuser is a device which is used for brewing loose and broken tea leafs. The boiling water temperature should kept at around 90-95deg while the tap water temperature should be around 25deg. The Infuser Although the traditional method used to prepare Chinese or Japanese tea is elaborate and requires a high level of skill and practice to get right, it's easy to make a nice cup at home, so long as you're using good leaves, the right temperature water (more on that later) and have the right vessel to steep it in. Although it might not be the traditional way to prepare tea, it produces great results every time with minimal preparation and little clean-up. It's made from super-hard plastic, and features an attached handle and removable lid. Inside is a filter which is removable for cleaning. But the real magic is in the bottom of the infuser. When you set it on top of your favorite mug, the pressure opens a channel for the water to flow out of the infuser and right into the cup. When you're done, you just dump the used tea into the trash, down the disposal, or into your compost heap, and you're ready to make the next cup.
